Job Description
Global Technology Group is seeking an Assistant General Manager – Accounts Payable to lead vendor engagement and payable operations in Yangon.
This role involves overseeing AP workflows, vendor negotiation, internal controls, and collaboration across finance and procurement. It also includes audit preparation and risk management recommendations to strengthen compliance and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee Accounts Payable team and ensure timely invoice processing.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and resolve payment issues or discrepancies.
  • Monitor cash flow and forecast outgoing payment schedules.
  • Support financial planning with AP cash requirement forecasts.
  • Analyze expenditure trends to control costs and flag anomalies.
  • Coordinate with treasury for payment planning and liquidity control.
  • Approve large or high-risk invoices before release.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and regulatory audit requirements.
  • Assist with monthly and annual closing processes.
  • Support internal and external audits with documentation and analysis.
  • Collaborate with procurement, operations, and finance units to streamline workflows.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s in Finance preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
  • Proficiency in ERP software (SAP, Oodoo, MYOB) and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
  • LCCI Level 3 or ACCA Part 2 preferred.
  • Strong foundation in financial accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of internal controls and audit standards.
