Job Description
Global Technology Group is seeking an Audit Manager in Yangon to lead planning, execution, and oversight of audits to ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and financial reporting standards.
The ideal candidate will support the Financial Controller in managing outgoing payments and enhancing internal financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop annual audit plans based on risk assessments and business priorities.
• Determine audit scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Lead and supervise internal audit engagements (financial, operational, compliance).
• Interview personnel, conduct testing, evaluate internal controls, and analyze financial processes.
• Assign tasks, review team outputs, and ensure audit timelines and quality standards are met.
• Identify weaknesses in internal controls and business risks.
• Recommend corrective actions and track their implementation.
• Evaluate effectiveness of financial and operational controls.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports including findings and recommendations.
• Support external audits, regulatory reviews, and audit committee engagements.
• Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Propose process and policy enhancements to improve compliance and efficiency.
• Participate in special projects, fraud investigations, and system implementations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CIA, or CA preferred.
• 3–5 years of internal or external audit experience at a managerial level.
• Experience in auditing volume-based transactions and reconciliation controls.
• Knowledge of data analytics and systems-based auditing.
• Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.
• Effective at report writing and interpreting complex policies, laws, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email tools.
