• Fiber Optic Network Design & Monitoring – In-depth experience in planning and implementing fiber transmission and access networks, with emphasis on FTTH GPON architecture.
• Skilled in fiber route planning, PoP and node design, link budget calculations, and split ratio optimization.
• Strong knowledge in Power Systems (AC/DC) – UPS, rectifiers, inverters, batteries, and generator integration.
• Transmission Network Expertise – Deployment and maintenance of DWDM, PTN, and other long-haul and metro transmission platforms.
• IP Core Network Proficiency – IP/MPLS backbone management, BGP/OSPF configuration, L2/L3 service provisioning.
• Regional Engineering Management – Supervision of site teams, vendor coordination, compliance, and service reliability.
• NOC Coordination – Alarm monitoring, incident response, change management, and performance analytics.
• Field & Documentation Skills – BoQ preparation, AutoCAD layouts, and standard operating procedures.
• Familiar with telecom-grade safety, grounding, and power backup standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Power Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
• Advanced training or certifications in fiber optic systems, IP networking, or telecom infrastructure is an advantage.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in telecom or fiber optic network engineering, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or project management role.
• Proven experience in fiber optic network design, including FTTH (GPON), ODN structure, and transmission layer integration.
• Hands-on experience with DWDM, PTN, OLT configuration, and IP core network architecture.

Regional Focus: Mandalay

• Leading the Mandalay Region’s transmission and access build-outs.
• Ensuring infrastructure readiness for FTTH and backbone integration.
• Serving as regional technical lead for cross-functional coordination with NOC, core, access, and power teams.
• Monitoring service quality and outage handling across key Mandalay districts.
